Very soon there will be announcements regarding the port and marina of Larnaca, President of the Republic Nicos Christodoulides said tonight.
In his statements to journalists, coming to the event for the "Larnaka Land of Tomorrow" project, and asked where we stand in relation to the port and marina of Larnaca, the President of the Republic said: "Very recently I had a meeting with the Mayor of the city, in the presence of the relevant ministers, and very soon there will be announcements, by next week. We are working on a specific plan, which we will announce for the benefit of Larnaca.
And tonight I am here with great pleasure, I believe there is no stronger vote of confidence than the project that we will announce today for Larnaca. A project that not only supports the development, the prospects of the city - for me it is not just a project - but at the same time protects, and is particularly important considering the very use of land here, sustainable development. It is precisely for this reason that I am here, to show the support of the state for such projects."
