Around the world, the variant of the Omicron coronavirus is spreading rapidly, with many countries moving to tighten measures or even a total lockdown. In our country, from the beginning, we have taken certain strict measures in an effort to limit the spread of the virus in the community, to keep the economy alive and to give all of us the opportunity to spend Christmas with our loved ones. We must all be optimistic, let go of the "I" and look at the "we", recognizing the superhuman efforts being made on the part of doctors, nurses and scientists to defeat the invisible threat. Now is the time for all of us to show individual responsibility and adhere to the measures and instructions of the scientists.
In recent days there has been a steadily increasing number of daily cases and the burden is reflected in hospitalizations and therefore no complacency is allowed, as the appearance of positive cases of the Omicron variant in our country may aggravate the epidemiological picture, which has also occurred in other countries. The increase in the rate of vaccination recorded in recent days is a key parameter in the response and management of the pandemic. All age groups are showing an increase in the vaccination rate. Specifically in the last 10 days, 8,390 people received the 1st dose of vaccine, 11,813 people received the 2nd dose of vaccine and 71,111 people received the booster/3rd dose of vaccine.
At the last meeting of the Ministry of Health with the members of the Scientific Advisory Committee, all data recorded by the epidemiological indicators were analysed and evaluated and the unanimous recommendations of the scientists were brought before the Council of Ministers. And it is for this reason that I would like to publicly thank the members of the committee for the excellent cooperation that exists, always keeping in mind the protection of public health and the prevention of the spread of the virus.
Taking into account the above and the fact that decisions need to be taken to limit the spread of the virus in view of the Christmas holidays, the Council of Ministers has decided:
(α) την επαναλειτουργία των σχολικών μονάδων μετά τις Χριστουγεννιάτικες διακοπές στις 10 Ιανουαρίου και κατά την επιστροφή όλοι ανεξαιρέτως, μαθητές, καθηγητές και λοιπό προσωπικό θα πρέπει να προσκομίσουν αρνητική εργαστηριακή εξέταση PCRδιάρκειας 72 ωρών ή τεστ ταχείας ανίχνευση αντιγόνου Rapidtest διάρκειας 48 ωρών.
(β) την παράταση όλων των υπόλοιπων προνοιών του εν ισχύ Διατάγματος μέχρι και τις 15 Ιανουαρίου 2022.
(γ) Από τις 22 Δεκεμβρίου 2021, όλοι οι εργαζόμενοι που ολοκλήρωσαν το εμβολιαστικό τους πρόγραμμα κατά της Covid-19 ή κατέχουν πιστοποιητικό νόσησης (διάρκειας 180 ημερών) υποχρεούνται να προσκομίζουν αρνητική εργαστηριακή εξέταση PCRή τεστ ταχείας ανίχνευσης αντιγόνου Rapidtest με διάρκεια 7 ημερών για την είσοδο τους στον εργασιακό τους χώρο. Εξαιρούνται οι εργαζόμενοι που έλαβαν την ενισχυτική/3η δόση εμβολίου.
(δ) Από τις 22 Δεκεμβρίου 2021, όλοι οι πολίτες πριν την επίσκεψη τους σε οικίες ενόψει των εορτών των Χριστουγέννων, συστήνεται να διενεργήσουν τεστ ταχείας ανίχνευσης αντιγόνου Rapidtest με αρνητικό αποτέλεσμα. Τα άτομα που έλαβαν τουλάχιστον δύο δόσεις εμβολίου δύνανται να διενεργήσουν selftest, ενώ τα άτομα που δεν έχουν λάβει καμία δόση του εμβολίου, συστήνεται να διενεργήσουν τεστ ταχείας ανίχνευσης αντιγόνου Rapidtestδιάρκειας 48 ωρών. Υπενθυμίζεται πως η παρουσία σε οικίες επιτρέπεται με μέγιστο αριθμό τα 20 άτομα, περιλαμβανομένων των μόνιμα διαμενόντων και των ανήλικων.
(ε) τη μείωση της χρονικής περιόδου του πιστοποιητικού νόσησης κατά της νόσου COVID-19 από 6 μήνες (180 ημέρες) σε 3 μήνες (90 ημέρες) με ισχύ από τις 31 Ιανουαρίου 2022.
(στ) Από τις 22 Δεκεμβρίου 2021 μέχρι τις 6 Ιανουαρίου 2022, ενόψει των εορτών των Χριστουγέννων, τα παιδιά ηλικίας 12-17 ετών θα μπορούν να προσέρχονται σε χώρους εστίασης (συμπεριλαμβανομένων των χώρων εστίασης σε εμπορικά κέντρα και ξενοδοχεία), σε θέατρα, αμφιθέατρα, κινηματογράφους, αίθουσες θεαμάτων, κλειστά και υπαίθρια γήπεδα, γάμοι και βαπτίσεις με την προσκόμιση αρνητικής εργαστηριακής εξέτασης PCRή Rapidtestδιάρκειας 72 ωρών, νοουμένου ότι συνοδεύονται από γονέα/κηδεμόνα που ολοκλήρωσε το εμβολιαστικό του πρόγραμμα.
(g) For visitors and employees in day care facilities for vulnerable groups and day centres co-located in the same building as nursing homes and other closed care and accommodation facilities for the elderly and vulnerable groups, the same measures that are in force in nursing homes and closed facilities shall apply following the instructions of the Ministry of Health and the State Ministry of Social Welfare.
