Finance Minister Makis Kerynos made statements to journalists after the end of the Cabinet meeting today. In particular, Mr Keraynos said the following: "I will start with a pleasant statement concerning the rewarding once again of the economic policy implemented and followed by our Government. I refer to the awarding of the green bond of the sustainable bond that we had issued last April. Global Capital, which evaluates these issues every year, has given the first prize to the bond of the Republic of Cyprus, the 10-year bond. This is an important achievement of our economic policy and how we manage public debt."

The Finance Minister then informed journalists that the Council of Ministers approved the creation of the "e-consultations" public consultation platform and the regulatory framework governing it, adding: "This public consultations platform is the single point for all public consultations conducted by the public and wider public sector. The creation of this platform is a measure to improve the regulatory framework, which helps to improve the rule of law and full transparency, as well as greater inclusiveness in day-to-day matters such as bills and any other action plans prepared by Ministries. A specific guide has also been prepared for this purpose."

Thunder noted that the public consultation platform is ready and that the relevant officials who will manage it have been identified. He pointed out that the platform will contribute to inclusiveness and greater transparency as regards the

bills and action plans prepared and implemented by the Government and the various ministries. The only concern I have is about what we need to do to keep our economy on a good path."

Asked by a reporter if he has any personal preference in case of a reshuffle, Keraynos said: "The issues of reshuffle are exclusively the responsibility of the President of the Republic."
