The President of the Republic Mr.Nicos Christodoulides chaired a meeting of the Council of Ministers at the Presidential Palace today.

After the meeting, the Government Spokesman Mr.Konstantinos Letibiotis told journalists the following: "The Council of Ministers at its meeting today decided to appoint the President and members of the Cyprus Bioethics Committee for a period of four years.

According to Article 4 of the Law, the Committee consists of four personalities from the field of humanities and social sciences, four personalities from the field of medical and biological sciences and four personalities of renowned prestige coming from the field of any other science or profession or who have distinguished themselves in any field or activity.
