Together with my European counterparts, we discussed important issues concerning work, such as the advent of technology, artificial intelligence and the need to regulate flexibility in working hours. We also managed to conclude an important agreement between the Member States on the promotion of the Social Economy , which demonstrates the emphasis that the European Union places on the social dimension of economic development.
We also had the opportunity to exchange views with the German delegation and the German Deputy Minister of Labour on good practices for the targeted use of labour from third countries, which is of great importance for the needs of the Cypriot economy.
