Following the meeting that the President of the Republic Mr.Nikos Christodoulides had today with the PDOED Secretariat at the Presidential Palace, the Minister of Education, Sports and Youth Ms. "Today we had a very constructive and very useful meeting of the President of the Republic with the Teachers' Educational Organization, the PDOED.
He has made recommendations, he has set the tone of the Government for the great importance attached and the investment that is being made in the issues of Education. The issues raised by the education organization were also heard and with the intervention of the President we are moving forward to discuss and eventually resolve them with a specific timetable. We are continuing the very good dialogue between the Ministry and the PDES, so that very soon we can launch solutions to issues related to upgrading the quality of our education system, starting very early, from pre-school education, touching on issues of Special Education and Primary Education that will help us in the implementation of our goal for a modern and inclusive school", said the Minister of Education in conclusion.
