For the issues concerning the Akamas National Forest Park, we follow the instructions resulting from the decision of the Council of Ministers of 20 December 2023, regarding the changes in the implementation of the projects of the Sustainable Development Plan (SDP) of the Akamas National Forest Park. This is done in the spirit and philosophy of the SDS.
Within the next few days, the report of the Ad-Hoc Committee on the road projects of the first phase in Akamas is expected. I will therefore inform the Cabinet of the details contained in the Cabinet decision of 20 December, as well as my own decisions on the Administrative Inquiry following all the newly established procedures and no later than mid-March. I am fully committed to transparency and announcements will be made in due course. I will follow all newly established procedures and where and when responsibilities are documented, they will be attributed.
