Today it is more urgent than ever that a collective, beyond petty politics, a universal and comprehensive effort to regain the credibility of our country is needed.

I am referring to a pan-European and international enlightenment plan, through which all institutional reforms for the tightening of the service delivery framework, the fight against financial crime and the application of sanctions will be promoted.

This struggle for action must be undertaken by the competent authorities of the state, such as the Ministry of Finance, the Central Bank and Invest Cyprus.

This struggle for action must be undertaken by the competent authorities of the state, such as the Ministry of Finance, the Central Bank and Invest Cyprus. At the same time, the platform offered by parliamentary diplomacy for the promotion of all the legislative and other changes that have taken place in our country in recent years should be used to the fullest extent.

The issue has already been raised at the meeting of the leaders and representatives of the parliamentary parties so that we can all make a coordinated contribution to this goal.

It goes without saying that everything that sees the light of day should be thoroughly investigated and where criminal responsibility arises, the specific cases should be brought to justice.
