[PIO] Statement by the Minister of Labour and Social Insurance: 'The law on teleworking is a major success'

On the passing of the Bill entitled "The Law on the Regulation of the Framework for the Organization of Teleworking 2023" by the Plenary of the House of Representatives, the Minister of Labour and Social Insurance, Mr.

"We welcome with satisfaction the decision of the House of Representatives to vote in favour of the Bill on the use of technology for remote work in the form of teleworking, which is a very important step for the labour market of our country.

Technological developments create important prospects for the future of work, which, through appropriate legislative regulations, enhance the flexibility of employment and the growth of the economy.

The Telework Act is a major success of the efforts of the current and previous governments, social partners and parliamentary parties, confirming that through unity, dialogue and consensus, mutually beneficial decisions can be taken for progress and prosperity.

The Government will continue to manage methodically and effectively all important open issues, achieving results that serve the public interest, in line with the needs of society and the potential of the economy."
