"Following the approval of the General Election Commissioner, the printing of ballot papers for the European elections has begun this morning and will continue until Monday. This will be followed by the printing of the remaining ballot papers for local government.

The Government Printing Office will be working late into the evening and at weekends every day so that we can be ready by the beginning of June. In total, about 1,050 different ballot papers will be printed and the total number of ballot papers will amount to 3.5 million.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the staff of the Department for their professionalism, patience and endurance, as well as the Ministry of Interior and other relevant departments, and the representatives of the candidates for their cooperation."
