An agreement was signed on 22/05/2024 between the Limassol - Amathus Sewerage Council (LADC) and the Eratosthenes Centre of Excellence for a study to record the existing status of systems, infrastructure and geographical data in LADC. The agreement was signed on behalf of SAALA by Ms Ioanna Christou, Director of Financial Services, and Dr Diophantos Hadjimitsis, Director General of the Eratosthenes Centre of Excellence.
SALA looks forward to the development of a holistic Geographic Information System (GIS), which has the potential to be integrated with the other sectors of the Provincial Organization of Self-Government (EOA), such as the Water Sector and the Licensing Sector.
As part of this strategy, an inventory of the existing situation of the entity will be made and a plan will be made for the implementation of a modern Geographic Information System, which will incorporate all the necessary descriptive information that will be managed.
