The Pancyprian Volunteer Coordinating Council (PCC), the highest coordinating body for volunteerism since 1973, signed on January 7, 2022, Memorandum of Cooperation with the Higher Hotel Institute of Cyprus, the institute of public higher education for professional qualification in the field of hotel, catering and wider tourism industry.
The purpose of the Memorandum is to establish a framework for cooperation in areas of common interest for the development of joint actions of mutual benefit and for the benefit of society.
The cooperation envisaged in the Memorandum includes in particular cooperation in the implementation of projects and activities for the promotion and development of volunteerism, cooperation with the MAI and voluntary/non-governmental organisations for the achievement of common objectives and the carrying out of research, the preparation of studies or the exploitation and promotion of research results, etc.
