[PIO] Seminar on: "Women in Diplomacy, Shaping Foreign Policy, Security and Defence"

The Diplomatic Academy of the University of Nicosia, the Office of the Gender Equality Commissioner and the University of Nicosia are co-organizing a seminar on "Women in Diplomacy, Shaping Foreign Policy, Security and Defence", which will take place on Monday 12 February 2024, at 17:30, at the UNESCO Hall of the University of Nicosia.

The seminar will be addressed by the Vice-Rector for Research and Academic Staff at the University of Nicosia, Mr. Konstantinos Fellas, the Commissioner for Gender Equality Ms. Josie Christodoulou and the Deputy Chair of the Department of Politics and Governance at the University of Nicosia and Director of the Diplomatic Academy Mr. Konstantinos Adamides.

The keynote speaker will be the United States Ambassador to Cyprus Ms. Julie Fisher.

The keynote speaker will be the United States Ambassador to Cyprus Ms. Julie Fisher. A speech on "Women, Peace and Security" will be delivered by Mr. Petros Petrikkos Petrikkos, Research Associate at the Diplomatic Academy and PhD candidate.

This will be followed by questions from the audience and answers from the speakers. Invited and invited are students from all universities.
