The Health Insurance Organisation (HIO) informs that the Personal Data Protection Policy, which it applies in the context of its compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation - GDPR (Regulation 2016/679), has been revised.
The purpose of the Personal Data Protection Policy is to provide information regarding the processing of personal data of Data Subjects by the Agency in the context of the General Health System (GHS), as well as the rights as set out in the GDPR.
The Privacy Policy is posted on both the Beneficiary Portal and the GHS Provider Portal and is accessible via the website www.gesy.org.cy. Upon entering the Portal, each stakeholder can select the Privacy Policy at the bottom of the screen. In addition, this Policy is also available on the create a user account in GIS. In particular, any interested party can follow the link under "Read our Privacy Policy here" to get detailed information.
