The Examinations Service of the Higher Education Directorate of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports and Youth Affairs announces the results of the Written Examination for admission to positions in the Civil Service whose initial scale does not exceed the A8 scale of the government salary scale and for which a university degree or equivalent qualification is required as a basic qualification
The written examination, held on 6 November 2021, was an aptitude test consisting of three questions of 40 minutes each.
A person was deemed to have passed the Written Examination if he or she obtained an overall average overall score of at least 50% and a minimum of 40% in each of the subjects included in the examination.
The list of successful candidates in the examination has been published in Government Gazette No. 5407 dated 4/2/2022 and notification number 104 and on the website of the Public Service Commission (http://www.psc.gov.cy) under the candidate code.
All those who attended the written examination and passed will be provided with a pass certificate indicating the marks, identity card number and other details of the candidate. Those who fail will also be issued with a certificate. These certificates will not be sent by post but will be available on the website "Public Service Recruitment Examinations" (http://epd.moec.gov.cy) from Wednesday 9 February 2022 at 12 noon. Candidates who attended the written test will be able to locate them through their personal section using the codes given to them when they applied for the above mentioned test.
