During the regular briefing of the UN international media (10/3/2022), the Representative of the Secretary-General, Stéphane Dujarric, noted that Ukraine has informed the International Organization that it intends to withdraw its personnel and military equipment from UN peacekeeping operations. Among these, he added, are peacekeeping operations in Mali, Cyprus, Abyei, South Sudan and Kosovo. The Ukrainian personnel in UNFICYP amounts to five people.
