The Cyprus Standards Organisation (CYS) informs that the "Special Subscriber Scheme Agreement" between the Cyprus Standards Organisation (CYS) and the Ministry of Energy, Trade and Industry (MoETI) has been renewed for the period 12/09/2023 - 11/09/2024.
Specifically, through the agreement, small and medium-sized enterprises in Cyprus are given the opportunity to access European, adopted international and/or purely Cypriot standards.
The beneficiaries of this agreement are small and medium-sized enterprises, which are registered in the Register of the Registrar of Companies and Official Receiver and carry out business activity in the Republic of Cyprus.

Through the Scheme, beneficiaries can obtain access to the standards by creating an account on the CYS online platform.
In summary, the Scheme provides for each SME:
- Five European (CYS EN / CYS EN ISO / CYS EN IEC) and/or adopted international CYS ISO / CYS IEC and/or purely Cypriot (CYS) standards, free of charge on an annual basis.
- Possibility for additional (more than five) European (CYS EN / CYS EN ISO / CYS EN IEC) and/or adopted international CYS ISO / CYS IEC and/or purely Cypriot (CYS) standards with the charges indicated in Annex IV of the Plan.
- For standards which are neither European (CYS EN / CYS EN ISO / CYS EN IEC,) nor adopted international CYS ISO / CYS IEC, nor purely Cypriot (CYS), and referred to in Annex IV, special rates as recorded in that Annex shall apply.
