The Ministry of Defence announces that from 6 February 2023 the new online platform for the submission of the data of those who are or have been 16 years of age within the current year (born in 2007) will be operational.
The platform will remain operational until 31 March 2023 and those who have not proceeded to register their details are urged to do so in order to do the necessary preparation and preparation for their call-up to the National Guard.
It is noted that, according to the National Guard Law, this is a mandatory procedure for those who have reached the age of 16 years.
It is also stressed that those young people who do not proceed with the submit their data, will not be able to issue an exit permit in order to travel outside Cyprus
