[PIO] Reminder of the Department of Postal Services on the payment of rent for Private Post Office Boxes

The Department of Postal Services informs tenants of Private Post Office Boxes (PPOs), including Government Departments, that rent for the period from January 1 to December 31, 2024 must be paid no later than January 31, 2024. Those I.T.H. tenants who wish may prepay the rent for 2 or 3 years.

Payments may be made at any Post Office, wherever the I.T.H. is located, or by sending a cheque to the Director of the Department, 1900 Nicosia. It is noted that, for the convenience of customers, payments may be made through the website www.jccsmart.com, at the link: https:/www.jccsmart.com/post-office/21670179.

For I.T.H.s rented from Government Departments, payment will be made by way of a correction slip, after consultation with the Department of Postal Services.

From 1 February 2024, tenants will be able to renew the rental after paying an additional charge of €5, while from 1 March 2024, the rented vehicles whose rental has not been renewed will be automatically released.

The amount of the rent is as follows.
