The Ministry of Health informs the consumer public that the Ministry's Health Services, as part of the official controls carried out in the market, have taken samples of the following product, in which, after laboratory tests at the accredited laboratories of the General State Laboratory, the salmonella microbe was detected:

The Health Services of the Ministry of Health have already informed the company that manufactures and distributes this food product in the Cypriot market and instructions have been given for the immediate recall/withdrawal of all quantities of this batch.
However, as some quantity of the batch involved may be in the possession of consumers, they are advised to avoid consuming it and to return the packages to the places where they purchased them.
The Health Services are working with the Veterinary Services to further investigate the matter.
