1. Asphalt paving works on the road Anthoupolis - Paleochori - Agros
The Office of the District Engineer, Nicosia Department of Public Works, Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works announces that from Monday 13/11/2023 until Friday 17/11/2023, from 08:30 in the morning until 17:30 in the afternoon, asphalt paving works will be carried out on the road Anthoupolis - Paleochori - Agros (E903), approximately at the height of the village of Agios Epiphanios, at X.21+800 - 23+200.
During the works one lane of the road will be closed and traffic will be directed to the adjacent lane (Stop & Go).
2. Construction works of roundabouts in Limassol District
The Limassol District Engineer's Office, Department of Public Works, Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works announces that from Monday 13/11/2023 and for a period of approximately five months, work will be carried out on the construction of roundabouts - built separation island and parking lanes, road maintenance, implementation of traffic management and road safety measures on Kolonaki Avenue in Agios Athanasios and Spyrou Kyprianou Avenue in Germasogeia.
During the execution of the works there will always be two-way traffic in one lane in each direction, except in cases where the closure of one or both lanes will be required. In such cases the work will be carried out during the night (Monday to Thursday) or on Sundays. Work on weekdays will be carried out between the hours of 06:00 - 17:00, Sundays 06:00 - 18:00 and night work between the hours of 21:00 and 06:00 the following day.
3. Work by a private telecommunications company
The Office of the District Engineer, Department of Public Works Larnaca, Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works announces that from 13/11/2023 until 21/11/2023, between the hours of 08:00 - 16:00 on the Athienou - Avdlerou - Aradippou road, cable pulling work will be carried out by a private telecommunications company.
During the execution of the works, part of one lane of the road will be closed at points over manholes and traffic will be diverted to the adjacent lane using the STOP and GO system.
4. Concreting works in Larnaca District
The Office of the District Engineer, Larnaca Public Works Department, Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works announces that on Tuesday 14/11/2023, between the hours of 06:30 - 10:00, concreting works will be carried out on sections of Yiannou Kranidiotis road in Larnaca.
During the execution of the works, the traffic lane will be partially closed from the Salamis roundabout to the light-controlled Fire Brigade junction in front of the ESSO petrol station and traffic will be diverted to the adjacent lane.
5. Work by a private company in Larnaca District
Also, the Office of the District Engineer, Larnaca Public Works Department, Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works announces that from Tuesday 14/11/2023 to Thursday 16/11/2023, between the hours of 09:00 - 13:00 on Artemis Avenue in Larnaca, work will be carried out by a private company.
During the execution of the works, the left lane in front of the CNP CYPRIALIFE building will be partially closed and traffic will be diverted to the adjacent lane.
The Department of Public Works apologizes for the unavoidable inconvenience that will be caused and invites the public to show the necessary understanding and compliance with the temporary road signs and the instructions of the Police.
