The Derogations Study Board announces that a Public Hearing will be held for the purpose of considering the application of Kapetanios Constructions Ltd (AMX/0410/2015), which concerns the granting of planning permission in derogation of the provisions of the Paralimnios Policy Statement (2013), for the addition of beds to an existing hotel unit, on plot no. 663, of F/A No. 2-295-376, Section 15, in the Municipality of Paralimni, in Famagusta District. The application was submitted under the provisions of Articles 26(2) and 26(3) of the Town and Country Planning (Amendment) Law 142(I)/99 and the Town and Country Planning (Derogations) Regulations 1999 (C.D.309/99).
The Public Hearing, which is a form of public dialogue and consultation between interested parties, is intended to ensure conditions of transparency and democracy in the application examination process.
The main purpose of holding the hearing is to provide more complete and accurate information to the Deviation Study Board, so that this body can come up with a comprehensive and informed recommendation to the Council of Ministers for the final decision.
The Public Hearing is open to the public and will be held on Friday 11/03/2022, at 11.00 a.m.
