The Board of Zoning Appeals announces that a Public Hearing will be held for the purpose of considering the application of Messrs. Stavros Demosthenous Developers Ltd and others [LEM/2544/2007/D (EA1)-LEM/1080/2015 (EA10)], concerning the granting of planning permission in derogation of the provisions of the Limassol Local Plan, for a Mixed Tourist Residential Development (5 Star Hotel and Residential Development), on parcels no. 338 and EPI 333, of P/L No. 2-212-342, Section 5, in the Community of Ayios Tychonas, Limassol District. The application was submitted under the provisions of Articles 26(2) and 26(3) of the Town and Country Planning (Amendment) Law 142(I)/99 and the Town and Country Planning (Derogations) Regulations 1999 (C.D.309/99).
The Public Hearing, which is a form of public dialogue and consultation between interested parties, is intended to ensure conditions of transparency and democracy in the application examination process.
The main purpose of the Public Hearing is to provide the Board of Variance Study with more complete and accurate information, so that this body can come up with a comprehensive and well-informed recommendation to the Council of Ministers for the final decision.
The Public Hearing is open to the public and will take place on Friday 25/02/2022, at 11.00 a.m, at the Plus Sea cafeteria (95 Amathus Avenue, Agios Tychonas), next to the AMARA Hotel. For the purpose of avoiding the spread of COVID - 19, the sanitary protocol will be observed (safepass, 2m distance, protective mask, antiseptic, etc. Please note that, at 10.15 a.m., a visit to the development site will take place.
