[PIO] Public Hearing Board of Variance Study for granting planning permission for additions/alterations to an existing licensed pavilion and

The Variance Study Board announces that a Public Hearing will be held for the purpose of considering the application of St. Tychon Community Council (LEM/0209/2015), which relates to the grant of planning permission in derogation of the provisions of the Limassol Local Plan (2013), for additions/alterations to an existing licensed pavilion and change of use to a restaurant, on the part of State Parcel No. 231, F/S No. 2-213-342, Section 5, in Ayios Tychonas Community, Limassol District.

The application was submitted under the provisions of Articles 26(2) and 26(3) of the Town and Country Planning (Amendment) Law 142(I)/99 and the Town and Country Planning (Derogations) Regulations 1999 (K.

The Public Hearing, which is a form of public dialogue and consultation between interested parties, is intended to ensure conditions of transparency and democracy in the application examination process.

The main purpose of the Public Hearing is to provide the Council for the Study of Derogations with more complete and accurate information, so that this body can come up with a comprehensive and informed recommendation to the Council of Ministers for the final decision.

The Public Hearing is open to the public and will take place on Friday 28/01/2022, at 11.00 a.m, In order to avoid the spread of COVID-19 disease, the health protocol will be followed (safepass, 2m distance, protective mask, antiseptic etc.).

It is noted that, at 10.15 a.m., a visit to the development site will take place.
