The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports and Youth reminds that on Saturday, 12 February 2022, the sixth presentation of the online course offered to students will take place, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., on the topic: "The Legal Profession and the Concepts of Justice, Courts and the Rule of Law". This topic is addressed to students in the 6th grade of primary school and will be available at https:/bit.ly/pi-ps06
The presentation will be given by Mrs. Georgia Constantinou-Panagiotou, Lawyer, Member of the Board of Directors and Press Representative of the Pancyprian Bar Association and Lecturer at the Law Department of the European University Cyprus (2011-2015). The main objective of the presentation is to explain, in simple terms, concepts such as the State, Law, the Rule of Law, Justice, Courts, the Lawyer, as well as to familiarize the audience with them through examples. The emphasis will be on the children's pre-existing knowledge of these concepts and the presentation will be interactive and adapted to the age of the audience.
