The Subcommittee of the Parliamentary Committee on Law, Justice and Public Order for the Consideration of Regulations Concerning Service Plans met today, Wednesday, 2 March 2022, and discussed, in the presence of representatives of the Department of Public Administration and Personnel of the Ministry of Finance, the following issues:
1. The Department of Cadastre and Surveying - Posts of Cadastral Officer A and Cadastral Officer B (Service Plans) Regulations, 2022.
(Fak. No. 23.03.059.015-2022)
The purpose of the regulations is to establish service plans for the above posts in accordance with the general policy followed in the establishment of service plans throughout the public service and the wider public sector.
2. The General Accountancy - Assistant Accountant Post (Service Plans) Regulations, 2022
(Fak. No. 23.03.059.017-2022)
The purpose of the regulations is to amend the service plan for the above post to modernise the qualifications required in Accounting
3. The Gaming and Casino Authority of Cyprus - Executive Director (Service Plans) Regulations of 2022
(File No. 23.03.059.020-2022)
The purpose of the Regulations is to draw up a service plan for the above post, in accordance with the provisions of the law governing the appointment of general managers of legal persons under public law.
4. The Department of Information Technology Services - Post of Senior Information Technology Officer (Service Plans) Regulations, 2022
(Fak. No. 23.03.059.023-2022)
The purpose of the regulations is to amend the service plan for the above post in relation to the qualifications required in order to comply with a relevant decision of the Supreme Court.
The Subcommittee decided to recommend to the Parliamentary Committee on Legal Affairs, Justice and Public Order that the regulations be forwarded to the full House, after taking a position on them at its next meeting.
