The Parliamentary Committee on Human Rights and Equal Opportunities for Men and Women met today, Monday, 7 February 2022, and discussed the following issues:

The Commission started the discussion of the above issue, in the presence of the competent state services and stakeholders, in the context of which it was informed regarding the existing institutional framework, the problems and difficulties faced by people with autism, as well as the actions and actions of the competent state services to solve these problems. The discussion of this issue will be continued at the next meeting of the Commission.
2. The Law on the Establishment of Minimum Standards on the Rights, Support and Protection of Victims of Crime (Amendment) Law of 2021

The Committee took a position on the provisions of the above proposal for a law, the purpose of which is to amend the Law on the Establishment of Minimum Standards on the Rights, Support and Protection of Victims of Crime, in order to strengthen the rights and protection of victims and to make the application of this legislation more effective.
The Committee decided to submit the proposed law for a vote in the plenary session of the House, following a consultation cycle on amendments to be tabled by Members and non-Members of Parliament at a forthcoming meeting of the Committee.
