The Parliamentary Health Committee met today, Thursday, 10 February 2022, and discussed the following issues:
1. The State Health Services Agency Budget Act, 2022

The Committee discussed the above bill, the purpose of which is to adopt by law the budget of the State Health Services Agency (SHSA) for the year ending December 31, 2022. As part of the debate, the committee, after being briefed by the chairman of the agency regarding the projected expenditures and revenues of the budget and posed questions to the commissioners in relation to individual provisions of the budget, resolved to take a position on the proposed budget during its debate in the plenary session of the House.
2. The Health Insurance Agency Budget Act of 2022
(File No. 23.01.063.040-2022)
The Committee discussed the above bill, the purpose of which is to adopt by law the budget of the Health Insurance Agency (HIA) for the year ending December 31, 2022. In the course of the discussion, the committee, having been briefed by the chairman of the agency with regard to the individual items included in the said budget and asked questions to those responsible with regard to its provisions, decided to take a position on the proposed budget when it is debated in plenary.
3. The Private Hospitals (Establishment and Operation Control) (Amendment) Act, 2021
(Fak. No. 23.01.062.183-2021)
The Committee took a position in relation to the provisions of the Bill and decided to forward it to the plenary session of the House, after the cycle of consultation on amendments, in accordance with the rules of the House, during the next session.
