The Minister of Transport, Communications and Works, Mr. Alexis Vafeadis, as Chairman of the Road Safety Council, and the Minister of Justice and Public Order Ms Anna Koukkidi-Prokopiou will welcome, in the presence of the Road Safety Ambassadors 2023-2024, the launch of the Road Safety Campaign at a press conference to be held on Tuesday 14 November 2023 at 12 noon.
The Road Safety Council's campaign entitled "Eyes on the road - mobile can wait" aims to raise public awareness of the dangers of using a mobile phone while driving in order to reduce the number of road collisions, particularly those resulting in injury or even death.
The central figures of the campaign are Road Safety Ambassadors 2023-2024 Mr. Michael Pavlidis and Vladimir Tziortzis.
