Candidate for the Presidency of the Republic Achilleas Dimitriadis exercised his right to vote today at the Chryseleousa Primary School, Centre L', in Strovolos.
Immediately afterwards, in statements to journalists, Mr Dimitriadis said the following: "Today is the day when everyone can express their opinion. Every person has the right, but also the obligation, to vote. The power of his voice is his voice. On this day, I invite people to come, to cast their vote and exercise their right. We must work for honest government. And we must start with the young people. We must give young people the automatic right to register to vote. We here are fighting for the honest state, it is our right. We want a united Cyprus. A Cyprus united and green. A Cyprus for all Cypriots. Good vote to all and to all and thank you."
Responding to a reporter's question about the means of transport he used during the election campaign, Demetriades said: "Our bus will be donated to the animal shelter in Nicosia, advertising is prohibited today so it is parked at the headquarters, but hopefully it will have a new life, helping the dog shelter at Nicosia Airport."
