The Department of Postal Services informs the public that recently there have been increased reports of misleading SMS messages being sent to mobile phones of the phishing type, concerning the filling in of address details.
Citizens are urged to be particularly careful how plausible the sender or the messages they receive appear, so as not to fall victim to fraudsters acting in this way.
Finally, it should be noted that payments are not downloaded to the JCCSmart online payment platform, but to another email address, Payments are not directed to website of the Department of Postal Services.
