[PIO] Participation of the Vice-President of the C.C. Mr. Kyriakos Hatzigiannis, OSCE Vice-Chairman and Special Representative for South-Eastern

MP Kyriakos Hatzigiannis, Vice-President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE CSCE) and Special Representative of the Assembly for South-Eastern Europe, is travelling to Berlin today to participate in a seminar organized by the CSCE. The seminar will include an exchange of views on the current state of European security in the light of Russia's ongoing war in Ukraine, the security perspectives and challenges for the Baltic States, the role of the OSCE in promoting peace and stability in the South Caucasus, as well as the next steps of the CSC.

On 22 April, Mr. Hatzigiannis will travel to Munich to participate in a seminar organized by the George C. Marshall European Centre for Security Studies in cooperation with the US House of Representatives' bipartisan House Democracy Partnership (HDP) Committee on 23 and 24 April.

On 22 April, Mr. Hatzigiannis will travel to Munich to participate in a seminar organized by the George C. Marshall Center for Security Studies in cooperation with the US House of Representatives' bipartisan House Democracy Partnership (HDP) Committee on 23 and 24 April. He will be a keynote speaker in a session on the role of civil society and parliaments during and after conflicts. Other topics of discussion include the protection of women and other vulnerable populations and the role of parliaments in oversight and reform of the military sector.
