Defence Minister Charalambos Petridis travelled to Brussels yesterday to participate in the work of the Foreign Affairs Council.
The Defence Ministers will discuss in a joint session with the Foreign Ministers of the Member States the Strategic Compass document which will guide the aspects for Security and Defence in the European Union in the coming years.
The meeting will conclude with a meeting of Defence Ministers, during which they will discuss the situation with Russian aggression and ways to support Ukraine, as well as possible scenarios for the evolution of the conflict.
