The Ministry of Energy, Trade and Industry, in cooperation with the Berlin Trade Centre, participated with a state pavilion at the ANUGA 2023 International Food and Beverage Fair, which took place in Cologne between 7 and 11 October 2023.

The Cypriot participation, which was formed in the context of efforts to strengthen the extroversion of Cypriot businesses and the penetration of Cypriot products in foreign markets, was staffed by 41 companies from Cyprus, which are active in various product sectors, such as cheese, juices, olives and olive oil, salt, bakery products, nuts, beverages, carob products, honey, sweets, fresh fruits and vegetables, and pasta.

ANUGA is considered the world's largest trade fair for the food industry and is held every two years in Cologne. The fair is a benchmark for professionals in the sector, providing the ideal environment for marketing products, as well as for making business contacts and concluding agreements. This year's event was expected to attract 7,800 exhibitors from 118 countries, as well as a significant number of international companies active in the marketing and distribution of products.
