Cyprus participates in the 60th International Contemporary Art Exhibition - Venice Art Biennale, which will be open to the public between 20 April - 24 November 2024, with curator and art historian Adriano Pedrosa as artistic director. Cyprus will be represented by the artistic duo Lower Levant Company (Peter Eramian, Emiddio Vasquez), the artistic collective Endrosia (Alexandros Xenofontos, Andreas Andronikou, Doris Marie Demetriadou, Irini Henkin, Marina Assioti, Niki Charalambous, Kyriaki Rafailia Tsiridou) and the artist Haig Aivazian. The group's proposal is entitled "On a wildflower-lined gravel track off a quiet thoroughfare..." The opening of the Cyprus Pavilion will take place on Thursday 18/4/2024, at 10.30 a.m. in the presence of the Deputy Minister of Culture, Dr. Vasiliki Kassianidou. The Pavilion will be hosted at Associazione Culturale Spiazzi, Castello 3865, (Venezia 30124)
