In the context of the International Day for Internet Safety, a workshop will be held on Tuesday, February 8, 2022, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m: "Together for a Better Internet". The Workshop, which will be held online, is organised by the Pedagogical Institute of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports and Youth, in collaboration with Cyta and with the support of the partners of the European Project "Internet Safety Centre - CyberSafety" and the National Strategy for a Better Internet for Children in Cyprus.
Under the motto "Together for a Better Internet", the conference aims to foster responsibility, respect and creative use of the Internet in our lives. It is the duty of everyone, the State, Internet stakeholders, teachers, parents, young people and children, to contribute to making the Internet a better and safer place for communication, entertainment and learning.
The workshop is addressed to students from all schools in Cyprus, teachers, parents, as well as relevant policy makers.
The workshop is addressed to students from Primary, Secondary General and Secondary Technical and Vocational Education and Training from all schools in Cyprus, teachers, parents and relevant policy makers. The topics to be discussed will focus on the opportunities and challenges of the Internet, focusing on how everyone can contribute to creating a safer and better Internet.
