[PIO] Operation of vaccination centres in the community of Trimiklini on 15 January 2022

In the context of efforts to better serve parents/guardians and especially children aged 5-11 years, the Ministry of Health in collaboration with the Cyprus Paediatric Society, the Commissioner for the Development of Mountain Communities Mr. Kostas Hambiaouris and the community leaders of the wider region, is proceeding with the operation of large vaccination centres for the vaccination of the residents of the wider region.

Specifically, on January 15, 2022, from 8 am to 2 pm vaccination centers will operate at the office of the Commissioner for Development of Mountain Communities in Trimiklini for service:

  1. Children aged 5-11 years
  2. Individuals 12 years of age and older who have not yet been vaccinated against COVID-19 (administration of 1st dose).
  3. Individuals 12 years of age and older who have received the 1st dose of vaccine Moderna or Pfizer/BioNTech and the period required for the 2nd dose (Moderna 4 weeks and Pfizer 3 weeks) has elapsed.
  4. With regard to the booster/3rd dose vaccination, persons aged 18 years and over will be served, provided that a period of 5 months and 2 weeks has elapsed since their 2nd dose vaccination.
  5. For persons who have received the Johnson & Johnson mono-dose vaccine, they will be able to receive a booster dose with mRNA technology vaccine (Moderna and Pfizer/Biontech).

As a reminder, all persons must necessarily present proof of identification (identity card, passport, alien registration card, etc.) and the vaccination card if they will receive the 2nd or 3rd dose.

As a reminder, for the vaccination of children aged 5-11 years, a consent form signed by both parents must be presented.
