The Ministry of Energy, Trade, and Industry, as part of the work on the preparation of a Grant Scheme for Hybrid Energy Storage Systems in combination with Renewable Energy Projects, which falls under the Fair Transition Fund, and following the previous results of the Public Consultation held on the General Policy Framework for Energy Storage, informs that it is conducting an Open Consultation with stakeholders in order to:
(a) to collect contributions on the basis of the attached support plan for the promotion of Renewable Energy Sources in combination with storage systems.
(b) to record any suggestions for storage systems beyond those described in the existing technical guide.
The Open Consultation will last until 30/05/2024 at 23:59.
The Department may conduct an online presentation on the above Plan at a date to be announced at a later date.
