The Department of Modern and Contemporary Culture of the Ministry of State for Culture issues an open call for expressions of interest from experts for their participation in evaluation committees for applications submitted by institutions and groups of natural persons for the projects of the programme "CULTURE II" (2021-2025), which have been announced for the year 2024.
The call is open to experts in the fields of Literature, Visual Arts, Music, Contemporary and Classical Dance, Theatre, Traditional Culture and Film. The selection of the experts will be made by the Deputy Minister of Culture.
Applications will be examined per sector by three-member evaluation committees, which will include an Officer of the Department of Modern and Contemporary Culture and two experts (external evaluators), during their conferences which will be held at the Department's offices (Iphigenia 27, 2007, Strovolos). The sessions are scheduled to take place during the months of February and March 2024.
Interested parties may declare their wish to participate as evaluators of applications by completing and sending the attached form "Declaration of Interest for Application Evaluation - CULTURE II Programme (2021-2025)" electronically (accompanied by a full CV) to the following e-mail address: info@culture.gov.cy.
The Statement of Interest must be sent no later than 8/1/2024. Clarifications on any questions regarding the evaluation procedure may be requested in writing by sending an e-mail with the subject 'Clarifications on the evaluation of applications - CULTURE II Programme' to the above e-mail address.
The persons selected as evaluators of applications through this procedure will be offered a fee of €60 for each meeting of the Evaluation Committee in which they participate. The fee will be paid to the beneficiaries against an invoice for the service offered by them.
It is understood that application evaluation services may only be offered by persons who do not have any involvement in activities in the field in which they are interested in offering their services, nor are they members of bodies or groups of individuals applying for activities in the field.
Those selected as external evaluators will be asked to sign relevant Confidentiality/Non-Conflict of Interest Declarations.
