An online broadcast-concert in support of the people of Ukraine, entitled "Stand with Ukraine - The Cyprus Edition", will take place on Friday, May 27, 2022. Inspired by the artist Alex Panagi and featuring artists from Cyprus, Greece and Ukraine.
The concert is under the auspices of the Office of the Citizens' Commissioner and the Representation of the European Commission in Cyprus and will be broadcast on May 27, at 19:30, on the Digital TV platform as well as on other media (on days and times to be determined). The presenters will be Alex Panagi and Vasiliki Hadjiadamou. All citizens who wish will have the opportunity to contribute to the accounts of the Cyprus Government and the Cyprus Red Cross, which will be displayed on the screen during the broadcast.
The effort is supported by artists from Cyprus, Greece and Ukraine, including Peggy Zina, Alexia, Evridiki, Despina Olympiou, Stavros Konstantinou, Giorgos Stamataris and Rousslana.
The President of the Republic Mr. Nicos Anastasiades, the Speaker of the House of Representatives Ms. Anita Demetriou and the European Commissioner for Health Ms. Stella Kyriakidou will address the audience at the beginning of the programme.
