The Tax Department informs that, based on information received from the Bulgarian Tax Authorities, as of 4/1/2022 the VAT registration numbers of certain persons registered in Bulgaria for VAT purposes have changed.
Therefore, traders who, from the above date, make intra-Community supplies of goods and/or services to Bulgarian VAT registered traders should request the new Bulgarian VAT registration number which they should verify via the EU website at https:/ec.europa.eu/taxation_customs/vies/, before issuing an invoice and completing the Summary Table.
