MP Kostis Efstathiou, member of the Cypriot delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) will travel to Tirana tomorrow to participate in a meeting of the Assembly's Subcommittee on the implementation of the judgments of the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR), which will take place on 4 and 5 July 2024.

As the CST Rapporteur on the issue of the implementation of ECHR judgments, Mr Efstathiou will present an information report on the role of national parliaments in the timely and effective implementation of the Court's judgments.

The meeting will be addressed by the President of the Albanian Parliament, Ms Lindita Nikolla, the President of the Constitutional Court, Ms Holta Zaqe and the Minister of Justice of the country, Mr Ulsi Manja.
