MP Kostis Efstathiou, member of the Cypriot delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, will travel to Strasbourg on Monday to participate in a meeting of the Council of Europe's Committee of Experts on the Protection of the Environment through Criminal Law, which will take place between February 27 and 29, 2024.
In the context of the meeting, individual provisions of the draft Council of Europe Convention on the Protection of the Environment through Criminal Law will be discussed, in particular those relating to the surveillance mechanisms of Member States.
