The Ministry of Health informs the public that the Covid-19 and influenza vaccines will be administered to bedridden patients, as in the past, through the home vaccination programme, by the home hospitalisation service of the Health Service. For purposes of scheduling the administration of these vaccines, the new Application Form is attached.
The application for home vaccination with COVID-19 and influenza vaccines may be submitted by the patient or his/her representative (patient's family member) in cases where he/she is unable to do so.
Note that if the vaccinee does not wish to receive the vaccine against covid-19 on the same day, then the influenza vaccination will be administered by their personal physician.
The Application Form should be sent fully completed and signed by the applicant and Personal Physician to smichael@papd.mof.gov.cy or by fax to 22771496.
