Regarding the decision of the Council of Ministers to adopt the "test to stay" measure in primary and secondary education, the Ministry of Health informs that at a meeting held today, 13 January 2022, at the Ministry of Health, in the presence of the Minister Mr. Michael Hadjipandela, the Minister of Education Mr. Prodromos Prodromos, the Head of the Scientific Advisory Committee Mr. Konstantinos Tsioutis and officials of the Ministry of Health, the ways of optimal implementation of the above measure were examined. The educational organisations will receive relevant information at a meeting to be held on Monday 17 January 2022, where the date of the start of the implementation of the "test to stay" measure will be announced. The aim is for schools to remain safe and operational, providing children with the basic right to education.
