[PIO] Ministry of Health announcement on the issue of the receipt of the order of the antiviral drug Paxlovid

The Ministry of Health wishes to inform the public that due to the cancellation of hundreds of flights at Frankfurt Airport due to the bad weather conditions, it was not possible for the order of the antiviral drug Paxlovid to arrive in Cyprus as scheduled this morning.

Therefore, and in order to avoid further inconvenience to patients, the Ministry of Health has come to an agreement with the Ministry of Health of Greece for the immediate shipment of a quantity of Paxlovid formulations to our country, pending the arrival of the order from Germany.

The Ministry of Health regrets the inconvenience caused to patients by the delay in receiving the antiviral drug.
