[PIO] Ministry of Education and Frederick University co-organize a series of lectures with Professor George Babiniotis

The lectures are aimed at teachers, students and the general public

The Ministry of Education, Sports and Youth (MESY), in collaboration with Frederick University and UNESCO Chair on Lifelong Learning and Adult Education of the University, is organizing a series of lectures with the distinguished Professor of Linguistics, lexicographer and Honorary Doctorate of the Faculty of Education and Social Sciences of the University of Frederick, Prof. George Babiniotis. The lecture series is addressed to teachers of all levels and disciplines, high school and technical school students and the general public.

Specifically, four lectures will be held at Frederick University's facilities in Nicosia and Limassol. The first lecture will be given on September 14, at 19:00, in the large Auditorium of Frederick University in Limassol and will be open to the general public. The topic of the lecture is: "Speaking 'With Language for Language' in Poetry: Elytis, Dimoula, Montis." The event will be addressed by the Minister of Education, Sports and Youth, Dr Athena Michaelides and the Rector of Frederick University and Director of the UNESCO Chair for Lifelong Learning and Adult Education, Professor George Demosthenous.

This will be followed by lectures for teachers on 15 and 18 September (at Frederick University in Nicosia and Limassol respectively) and for high school and technical school students on 19 September (at Frederick University in Limassol).
