[PIO] Minister of Health Mr Michael Damianos will represent Cyprus at the Council of Health Ministers of the European Union

The Minister of Health, Mr Michael Damianos, will leave for Luxembourg today to represent the Republic of Cyprus at the European Union Council of Health Ministers (EPSCO HEALTH), which will take place on 21 June 2024.

The focus of the Council of Ministers will be, among other issues, on the revision of European pharmaceutical legislation and the strengthening of vaccination coverage in EU member states to combat cancers linked to viruses such as HPV (human papillomavirus).
