The Minister of Health Michael Damianos gave the assurance that he will stand by the Cyprus Federation of Patients' Associations in its efforts to solve the important problems faced by patients, during a meeting he had today with the leadership of the Federation.
In his statements after the meeting, Mr Damianos noted that the common goal is to provide the best possible services to the Cypriot patient. He described the meeting as very constructive, noting that the OSAA submitted a memorandum in which its main positions were recorded. We will study the memorandum with due attention and will be in constant contact with the OSAK, Damianos concluded.
For his part, the President of the Board of Directors of the OSAK, Pambos Papadopoulos, expressed his satisfaction with the outcome of the meeting, stressing that the Minister of Health positively surprised the organisation. "The Minister gave us the opportunity to submit a memorandum with the issues that are pending in the health sector and to immediately start discussion on key issues that concern us as OSAA," Papadopoulos concluded.
