The budget of the Ministry of Health for 2024 was presented today before the Parliamentary Finance and Budget Committee by the Minister of Health, Dr.
The four strategic pillars of the budget relate to.
- The upgrading of e-Health and promotion of modern technologies.
- The promotion of health promotion and disease prevention throughout the life of citizens.
- The upgrading of health infrastructure.
- The upgrading of health infrastructure.
The flagship actions of the Ministry of Health for the period 2023/2024 include.
- Introduction of a population-based screening programme for prostate, colorectal and cervical cancer.
- Enhancement of access of the beneficiaries of the GHS to the health services provided (integration of new innovative medicines, possibility of issuing an urgent referral, possibility of prescribing specialised medicines by a personal physician in order to reduce waiting lists).
